What would the ideal photographer be like?  I don’t know what you do in your spare time, but I ponder this question day in and day out, modeling my business on whatever I come up with. So far, I’ve got this:  She’d feel like an old friend, so my friends and I would be totally comfortable having her around while we’re getting ready on my wedding day…she’d pop over with the camera and show me what she just took, and I’d start to get really excited...

She’d be at the wedding rehearsal and somehow know everybody’s name by the end it! She’d talk with our officiant and with us so that everybody knew when pictures were going to be the next day.

On my wedding day, my ideal photographer would be spontaneous but in control, spending more time capturing the natural beauty around her instead of forcing it to materialize!  She’d be having a great time, too, and always willing to help if we needed an extra hand!

Lastly, she’d have a great sense of humor, an amazing eye, and she’d have created images of us that looked like they came straight out of an expensive perfume commercial!!  She would be somebody that I would look forward to getting to have around on my wedding day….
